Swansea finds itself with a projected new housing demand of as many as 17,100 homes before 2025. The expired development plan, operating from November 2008 to the end of 2016, suggested a target of 13,000 homes was needed in the previous period but actual delivery has fallen some way short at approximately 8,000.
So, whilst developers like MYTY Homes have an important role to play in bringing smaller sites to fruition, there remains a need for large sites promoted by the National house builders. Which would you prefer to live on?
